We will make the pickup at your hotel or accommodation in the city of Porto and we will set out to discover northern Portugal.
Arriving in Guimarães we will have time for a calm walk on foot through the medieval city where we will enter in his Catelo that was known for the birth of a new kingdom: Portugal.
Then we will visit the Palace of the Dukes where we are dazzled by the luxuries of royalty from other times. A whole history of Portugal will be told by our local guides who have always followed the group.
A delicious traditional Portuguese lunch will be served in a restaurant where you can taste the so famous "Vinho Verde", produced in the region.
We will leave for the city of Braga, known for the city of the Archbishops where we will visit its historical center, visit the interior of the Cathedral before we go to the top of the mountain and visit the most magnificent Sanctuary in Portugal: Bom Jesus do Monte.
A day filled with culture and conviviality with local people, realize the importance of these two cities for the unification of a country and, of course, an excellent lunch accompanied by good wine.

We will start by discovering the techniques of
cultivation and transformation of grapes in nectar known as “green wine” and for this we will visit
its Interpretive Center located in one of the oldest and most flowered villages
in Portugal: Ponte de Lima.
Through a complete lunch served in a restaurant, we
will discover where the flavors and aromas that make up the best of the
gastronomy of the Minho region and Portugal come from.
In the land of the famous Portuguese rooster, we will meet one of the oldest arts in the
region, the Pottery. A visit to the Barcelos artisans where we will get our
hands on the clay and see how the “Crockery of Barcelos” is modeled.
Before
returning to Porto, we will visit a green wine producer where we will taste a
variety of green wines accompanied by local delicacies.
Green is the color that stands out over the vast landscape going between the Douro River and the river Minho, especially due to the moist microclimate which gives to this region the perfect conditions for growing several varieties of green wine, including the famous Alvarinho from the Monção and Melgaço’s region.
We will discover how the grapes cultivation and processing techniques produce the unique nectar known as Vinho Verde and we’ll see the Alvarinho Solar in the hilly Melgaço town, a town bathed by the river Minho. After a gastronomic lunch with a wide variety of products from the region, we will visit Monção where we can contemplate its military fortress and its beautiful Romanesque churches. Before returning to Oporto, we will visit an Alvarinho wine producer and we will taste and enjoy this particular tart wine region.
